Tryout Information
We’ll be hosting two tryouts—attending at least one is required.
Tryout Fee: $20 cash only. (covers both tryouts)

📍 Highland Park Rec Center
📅 Monday, August 19
2nd & 3rd Grade: 5–6 PM
4th & 5th Grade: 6–7 PM
6th & 7th Grade: 7–8 PM
8th Grade: 8–9 PM
Tryout 2
📍 The Thunderdome – 2710 Old Willow Rd
📅 Wednesday, August 21
2nd & 3rd Grade: 5–6 PM
4th & 5th Grade: 6–7 PM
6th & 7th Grade: 7–8 PM

🔹 What’s Included This Season
Two practices per week: One team-focused & one skills development session.
Our skill sessions will be lead by Elite coaching and guest instruction featuring local high school & college coaches like:
Coach Deutsch (Highland Park HS)
Coach Hayes (Glenbrook North HS)
Coach Chris Collins (Northwestern University)
Nick Martinelli (Big Ten’s leading scorer, Northwestern)
Season Cost: $1,300
Includes 2 uniforms and additional gear.

The Blue Devils Travel Basketball Program is dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the court. Our mission is to provide an environment that fosters skill development, teamwork, and discipline, while also building character and sportsmanship. Through our focus on teaching the fundamentals of basketball and encouraging growth in all aspects of the game, we aim to help players reach their full potential and prepare for success at every level of competition. As a team, we believe in creating a positive, inclusive culture where hard work, commitment, and respect are the foundation of everything we do.
